The Storage Loft was founded with a singular conviction: that self-storage should be developed and operated with the same standard of professionalism, design quality, and investment discipline applied to any other institutional real estate asset class.
Operating under the TBros Group, The Storage Loft has assembled a portfolio of four projects across Ontario, each at a different stage of development. From the operational facility at 122 Cushman Road in St. Catharines, managed by StorageVault Canada Inc., to pre-development land holdings in Thorold, the portfolio reflects a disciplined, opportunistic approach to growth.
The brand ethos is captured in the tagline: Think Inside The Box. It is a deliberate inversion of convention, asserting that within the defined structure of self-storage lies significant opportunity for value creation when approached with ambition and rigour.

Founder
Spencer has led acquisition and disposition efforts for over $1 billion of assets under development and management, completed OPA and ZBA applications, and sourced and negotiated over $175 million in financing facilities for land acquisitions, construction projects, and stabilized assets. He has led development consultant teams and construction projects through to substantial completion and occupancy for a diverse array of projects ranging from a 1M sf multi-phased development to street-front retail and mid-cap multifamily repositionings. Spencer has been a primary manager for five separate funds, raising over $65 million in equity from institutions, HNW family offices, and individuals, and has sourced strategic partnerships via joint ventures and co-developments.

Founder
Alexander is responsible for procuring development approvals, construction management, property management, and leasing for a portfolio of over 10 million square feet of retail, office, and industrial space across Ontario, including over 150 properties and approximately 2,000 tenants. He has personally been the construction manager for over 1 million sf of development throughout the province ranging from Windsor to Ottawa to Huntsville, with current projects underway ranging from $10 million to $500 million. Alexander has taken many sites from vacant land to successful commercial developments, leveraging strong relationships with municipalities and trades across Ontario to deliver projects on time and within budget.
